2. WHAT IT IS NOT
a)It is not a pledge. (Ecc. 5:4-5)
b)It is not something that someone will come to collect. (2 Cor. 8:12)
c)It is not determined on the basis of what you know you can give, but what you are willing to believe God for.
d)It is not taken away from your present tithes and offerings to the church.
3. HOW IT WORKS
By faith, each member contributes a certain amount, which God leads him to promise on a weekly basis to the missionary program of his church. The offering is an addition to his regular giving. The promise is made between the giver and God, so he must look to God to supply his needs so that he may give.
FAITH PROMISE IS TRUSTING GOD TO GIVE THROUGH YOU FOR HIS CAUSE OF WORLD EVANGELIZATION WHAT HE WOULD NOT OTHERWISE GIVE TO YOU FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH PURPOSES.
